Deleting your Flightrion account
Applies to the Flightrion app for Android.
Option 1: in the app (immediately)
- Open the Flightrion app.
- Go to Account (menu on the left or the nickname badge in the top right corner).
- Choose Account settings → 🗑 Delete account and confirm with Delete forever.
The account and data are deleted immediately – from the cloud and from the phone.
Option 2: without the app (by email)
If the app is no longer installed, write to flightrion@proton.me:
- subject: Delete account,
- send the message from the Google account email you used to sign in to the app,
- include your nickname or pilot callsign.
We will delete the account and data within 30 days at the latest and confirm it in a reply.
What will be deleted
- sign-in account (link to the Google account),
- pilot profile: nickname, callsign (released for others), country, points, rank, tasks, visited airports, statistics, private pilot ID,
- all saved flights with their tracks and flight data,
- live map position (if a flight was in progress).
What may be kept for a limited time
- unusual flight event reports (fair ranking) – until reviewed, at most 12 months; on request by email we will delete them earlier unless they are needed to investigate cheating,
- app crash reports – up to 90 days.
Data stored only on the phone (e.g. overlay look settings) is removed when you uninstall the app.
